The Unforgiving Time..

I was watching, Saving Private Ryan and am wondering at the courage or desperation or whatever it was that is driving the soldiers across a place and fight at some unknown foes and unknown future with the flesh-shredding explosions everywhere. Why are they suffering behind the enemy lines, when we are here enjoying all the luxury, our life has presented with?? I agree, we have our own share of issues.. But we are not covered with blood bath often, we are not even watching for others when they are in trouble.. All we do is just look after ourselves..

The other side of the war was just cruel and brutal in our face.. Whenever we hear the news, militants are killed by army soldiers, how many of us care to know who those army personnel are? How many of us are willing to know what happened to those who were in the fight? Those are the fallen heroes.. forgotten heroes…

Shouldn’t we be grateful for the debt we owe to those who went before us through the blood and sufferings of the Revolution? And I am willing—perfectly willing—to lay down all my joys in this life, to pay that debt.. to take his place and lay my life for him..If I’m favoured with a boon of being immortality, I would die for each and every soldier who laid his life for us…

I know there are many people who are against our Armed Forces.. But believe me, no country is perfect with everything.. Here I’m not accepting that you are right.. But think of those soldiers, who is in the field just with memories and guarding us..

Imagine, preserving the messages of their comrades, by removing from the corpses of the newly dead, sometimes copied over to hide bloodstains, the bizarreness, the loneliness & the hell of life … The flashbacks of the war time/ fights, the terrifying moments, reliving those moments always because being unable to forget that, those flashbacks, the anniversaries and everything will kill them … again ..

So please do respect! Love!
